re: American Enterprise confronts global warming conference
The attempts to not just confront, but silence, opposition is one reason this smacks more of dogma than science.
As I understand it, the scientists pushing the current global warming wisdom, and whose work has been analyzed by the IPCC, aren't working for free, either. Who's funding them? And how long would that funding last if they stopped coming up with what the funders want to hear?
Anybody care where the IPCC's money comes from, and how? Didn't think so.
I will not argue that the AEI is biased. What I won't accept is that there is no bias on the other side.
