Go ahead. Follow the money. And the power.

The money is flowing from international organizations that have a long history of supporting socialist solutions for things like this. Wait until the "recommendations" are released in May. Chirac is already calling for taxes on nations that haven't come on board with Kyoto. Never mind that those that did come on board are failing miserably to meet its demands.

For a lot of those behind the scenes on these things, this is about getting control of the private sector and looting it, something that has been a wet dream of the movers and shakers at the U.N. and other international organizations for many years.

Note that you are the one who brought up the bias issue, in an article that obviously was biased in and of itself.

Do you know who Rajendra Pachauri is? Yuri A.Izrael?

I'm not saying there's dirt there. I'm saying that nobody I'm arguing with here seems to care. As far as you're concerned, the U.N. climate report was delivered on stone tablets at Sinai, and that's all you need to know.

It will be a cold day in hell before the Guardian tracks the money and influence back up the ladder on the pro-warming side.
