I guess that is what I am curious about- the energy that holds an atom together. I can’t help but wonder that if you keep breaking down an atom by unlocking the energy that holds it together eventually you’ll end up with nor mass and all energy.
Basically, you keep breaking it down until you get the smallest particles you can get. Break those down and then you get (To quote Mr. Spock) pure energy.
It goes back to M = E/c squard.
Anyway, that is what I get for trying to understand subatomic physics. I think I need some Ibuprofen.
