The movement used to be about cleaning up lakes and rivers, making sure factories cleaned up their exhaust, and that human activity didn't wreck the environment. About planting trees when you cut them down, and restoring strip mines to parks when you are done.
The leaders nowadays are against pretty much anything humans do. Don't cut trees. Don't mine. Don't do anything. Anywhere. And what they do allow has to be tightly controlled at every level. Socialism, top to bottom. There are a lot more Paul Ehrlichs out there than there used to be.
I shouldn't have to explain this. You're smart enough to know exactly what I mean and who I'm talking about.
You think I made up the Green political movement? If its motives were any more blatant I'd have to peel them off your face.
