I hope you didn't believe any of those arguments, because they are bullshit. They're hype. They are non-issues being fluffed about by some idiot who wants everyone to believe.
On a side note, any condition that requires removal of an organ later in life is probably rare. I do sympathize however: My appendix had to come out, there really was no choice since it would have killed me in a week or so. But anyone who puts their baby under the knife for cosmetic reasons is insane. While they are at it, why not give their newborn baby girls breast implants? Nose job anyone?
