Last year, I caught an oral yeast infection in the aftermath of my Cancer treatment.
According to your theory, I would have had to have indulged in oral sex with an evil and dirty woman - since they are the source of all such infections.
How does Belgian Beer get its yeast innoculation? Is there some bizarre ritual involving Nuns and "dirty habits"?
Your ideas about infection are as ludicrous and unscientific as the 17th Century theory of spontaneous generation of life - Mice, for example, were thought to arrive spontaneously within a pile of dirty clothes left in the corner of a room for a few weeks.
Of course, physical contact is important in the transmission of many diseases, but others commonly float on the air or are transmitted by other vectors.
