...taking care of children has brought me into contact with an uncircumcised little boy of three. The child was bathed daily and played at the pool often yet developed a yeast infection under his foreskin in the summer. The treatment was to apply a salve to the affected area three times a day after retracting the foreskin for 14 days. He was a brave little fellow, and didn't fight me, but he cried and cried. It looked very red. It apparently hurt.
For all I know, every single thing you say about circumcision may be true. Yet you will not convince me that early circumcision serves no useful medical purpose. The tears of a three year old have taught me so.
