I think society is fear based...

and that is the motivating factor ...we are afraid...of *you name it *, and people do not even know how to recognize the manifestations of their fears.

We have never been where we are now, either. We(society)...here in the year 2007, are a new phenomonon ....society is changing leaps and bounds....events unfold that we can not even comprehend, new precedence are being established every day. The government can not keep up, either...what was once simpler times indeed has become a complicated web of existence....our survival is different now...much more intrusive and insidious.

The price for this faster way of life is getting higher...

Actually, it is when our lives are halted by heinous events that we start to reflect and I have found everyones' insights quite revealling...I am encouraged...we are a great society....we will prevail....in spite of ourselves!!
