I have had this replicator for a few years now, and had been meaning to get a replacement as soon as I could afford it... But I had to blow my savings on a new inertial dampener for my warp Segway last week, and sure enough, my replicator finally died the nexy day.
I have tried cleaning the neutrino valve, to no avail... I tried cleaning all the tachyon residue from the contacts- still no luck... I now think I may need to replace the di-lithium crystals, but they are expensive and I have had bad luck with vendors in the past- I tried Di-Li Tech for my last batch but their product was substandard, and the molecular matrix broke down too often. (Also their tech soppurt was a scam and their promised teleportation to me of the rebate check, never materialized.
I guess I have 4 questions...
1) Do you think that its the di-lithium crystals that are the problem?
2) Who should I buy them from
3) How do you replace the crystals on an MS-Apple replicator model 3874RE-S
4) Does replacing the Crystals void the warranty?
Any help would be greatly apppreciated- I am also having trouble with my Tachyon based modem....
