That is horrible.
Usually it is the father that is mean to daughters.
My mom was treated similar by her dad. As a little girl she told her dad she wanted to be (I forget what it was) when she grows up. Her dad told her she was too stupid.
My wife’s dad wanted a son but had too girls. He didn’t spend much time with them. My wife usually avoided him. She always felt she was in his way.
I will never treat my daughter like that. Heck, she already has me rapped around her finger.
