When I was around 5 or 6, I was in the checkout line with my mom and I wanted a pack of gum. She wouldn't get it, so I took it anyway (I think a samll pack like that was 10 cents back then),
I felt guilty for years. Never did it again.
A few years ago the cable guy rigged up a new cable because the old one was bad. He hooked us into a new connection in the cable box. We started getting all the channels even thou we were only paying for basic. He said not to worry about it, he would fix it when he came back to bury the cable.
I guess they forgot about us. Several months later we were still getting premium cable for the price of basic. And we still had a cable running along the fence. I didn’t want to do it, but my conscious got the better of me and I called the cable company to come bury the cable and switch me to my basic channels.
