Yep, and despite Odysseus' advice, she was eventually murdered by Klytemnaestra.

Odysseus would have been better off just taking her back to Ithaca...although I can see it might have been a bit sticky explaining her to Penelope: "This is Kassy, dear, we're going to adopt her..."
