I'm on your side.
I side with self-actualization, pride in my work and in the knowledge I am good at what I do and that it is useful to others and rewarding for me.
I totally relate with what you are saying ER but that perspective is one of the worker, not the entrepreneur. Unfortunately my experience with the business world is more black than you perceive it. More than pride and utilitarian value, conducting a business involves asking " how can I take" and "how many can I take it from".
