The whole insurgency escapade is a proxy war for Iraq's oil resources by our European allies. We split - they move in, shift the contracts and put new names and prices on the oil - and it's as peaceful as Iran - a Franco-Russo-Sino client state.
What do you think the goal is?
You think an insurgent leader thinks he'll be the new Saddam without foreign support?
The insurgents are funded/armed by the French-Russo network still in place in Iran.
Wake up.
If Europe is for it - it means its a BAD idea. They haven't had a good idea in well over a century.
If Europe wants us out, we should stay in.
If Europe wants to cozy up to Iran for bucks - the USA should not.
If Europe doesn't give a fig about democracy - we should.
We leave - and we'll need to find a new source for oil, since we are Iraq's biggest customer right now. You think the recession is bad now...just wait till the last of the troops leave and Totalfinaelf sets up shop with the insurgency, slaughtering the innocents and setting up a new totalitarian regime friendly to France and Russian corporate interests.
Suddenly the dollar will drop and the Euro will go up. And the merciless thugs in Europe will laugh their behinds off at how utterly stupid and clueless the average American is - a squawking parrot of the first order.
