Not the same as the American Revolution? Agreed.
Unprecedented in history? Inane.
You think this is the first time some force has gone into a nation, overthrown it, and forced a new system on its people? The first time there has been chaos in such a nation, bloodshed and refugees?
You think this is the first time America, with overwhelming economic and military power, reformed and rebuilt a ruined nation?
Compared to almost any other war in human history, never mind just the ones in the lifetimes of people alive now, this one is a frigging walk in the park. Take it up with an old veteran sometime. Or an old refugee.
And frankly, this kind of hyperbole is getting ridiculous. Every damn generation in history believes that somehow they are the fulcrum of existence.
