I'm sorry if you can't see the distinction in potential abuse of absolute power between our leader (any president of the United States for that matter) and the leader of a half-ass country like Iran. If I ever was FORCED into defending my home and my family from a dictatorial takeover of our country (which I still think we'll avoid), you and I would be on opposite sides and you'd find that what you consider to be pacifist liberals would be a nightmare to you and your type. Just because we've chosen to evolve and move away from physical aggression to solve our disputes doesn't mean we still don't have the basic human instincts for self-preservation.
