"Areas that support your narrow view of the world."

Well, we could work it from that direction. You might notice that the "areas" where I pull my sources include a lot of mainstream press, well-known science sources, original papers from many non-political organizations, and others.

You see, I'm on the "wrong" side. I have to work to higher standards on sources. Aside from obvious opinion-only articles, I rarely link directly to blogs, and then usually only when the blog includes a link to the original material. It's sometimes useful when the blogger has gone to the work and collected many sources so I don't have to. I rarely link to Fox News or any other source where people would immediately point and say, "see? Bias. Won't read it." Same for sources like Heritage or any other conservative think tanks.

This makes things a little harder. I have to assemble every argument from scratch, collect the material, lay out the charts.

Liberals can link to MSNBC, BBC, Olbermann, and the like, and it's just fine. I would be laughed out of here if I drew on Fox News or Rush Limbaugh as a source.

I wish I were one of the "architects." Things would be running a lot better, the Republicans wouldn't be such jerkoffs, and I'd be making a hell of a lot more money.
