It's getting like that here. All the investors that were building the gated communities and putting up expensive log homes in the middle of nowhere are now left holding the bag. Because the market is flooded with them, now that loans are harder to come by for the larger priced homes. And more and more are coming on the market each month. And the buyers have them by the balls.
A couple of my best friends are realtors up here and they tell me about all the offers going back and forth, and how exciting it is for them. The market has slowed, but not stopped. A good time to get your home in the mountains.
