Obviously we have a different view of the definition of the word "Flame". It's true an attack on an individual would be considered to fall into the category but a situation where someone uses the term "the left" could easily then be taken as an attack on numerous individuals that anyone on here would easily figure out.
Just because someone is too lazy to name names it's pretty straightforward who Gbakie is referring to (and I'm not necessarily lumping myself in that group since I consider myself more a centrist. I doubt he'd believe me though.)
I didn't react to this because I felt personally threatened. My outrage is instead over this onslaught of cheap shots that people have been taking on this board, Space, and Off-Topic lately. They're understandable when the thread has progressed through its evolution but it seems to me that a line like he included was meant to inflame from the onset (hence the forum it should be in).
I certainly stand by your decisions and won't lose a minute of sleep over this issue. Just consider it a bitch slap. They're fun.
