In case you didn't know, the Left is not a political party.
If I were to blame on it a political party, I would have said the British Labor party or the British conservative party, or the Social Democratic party [which btw is mostly made of it members more severely Left than the Labor party- so Left that one of it's members is somewhat famous for his steadfast loyalty to the socialist Baath party's top thug- though I'm not claiming this loyalty wasn't well paid for].
