There are more than a few people who have written books about being abducted by aliens, and I have read one or two. (Don't think I ever actually bought one, but I've listened to a few now and then at conferences). I've listened to doctors discuss people who've had these memories or experiences and I certainly find that moe interesting what they discuss than with the accounts themselves.
They sound more to me like shamanic dreaming or nightmares, neither of which have anything to do with alien encounters.
How did we get from ufo files to abductions?
