UFOlks.

The difference between the UFO people and the non-UFO people, like us, is that if we ever actually saw a real UFO, and were absolutely convinced it was a genuine interstellar spacecraft, we would change our minds and become UFOlks ourselves. In other words, given the right evidence, we are capable of changing our minds and switching positions.

On the other hand, the pro-UFO people can never change their minds. There is no evidence that will make them switch, every evidence of fraud or mistaken identification will be dismissed as an isolated incident and they will always retain the hope that actual proof is still out there.
For them, there is no evidence capable of changing their minds and making them switch positions.

The same goes for the occult, religions, psychic phenomena, or other related paranormal phenomena. It is possible to conceive of a way they can be proved, but there is no possible way to disprove them. It's hard to reason with people whose opinions can't, in principle, be disproven.
