Funny story.
I'm reading a book on the First Gulf War. In it it describes a couple of British military units, two of which have the longest lineage of any military units in the world.
There is an undoubtedly apocryphal argument between a couple of members of each, probably over several pints of bitters.
"We've been around so long", says one, "that we guarded Jesus' tomb."
"And if we'd have been guarding it", says the other, "He wouldn't have gotten away so easily!"
I thought it was funny, anyway.
