A license for rights---> a license for freedom
Raoul — (archived)

You have the cards, you have the rights and the freedom.

You don't have the cards, you can't do this or that.

When my nephew was born, the hospital had the files ready for the town; when my father died, one of the first things to fo was to declare his death to the town.

Having papers means being able to have rights so that we can deal with others to our advantage.

always--involves more control over the lives of the average citizen, more restrictions on freedom of choice, and ever more power and wealth taken away

I've heard that ! And the solution for not having to pay taxes, is? Not to work?? Then no money at all coming in! It's like fighting against global heating: stop breathing!
We're very much unaware of all the freedom we have because we take it for granted. It's the paperless people who make us realize this.
