You are mistaking the natural act of commerce, where individuals and small groups engage in trade for mutual benefit, to finance capital, where the goal is to create massive collectives whose goal is to generate profit no matter how intrinsically worthless ot toxic the product is. You're talking corner laundries and lemonade stands. In fact, the trend now is to eliminate the product altogether, along with the employee. The perfect capitalist economy is guys in suits selling each other IOUs, (or its digital equivalent). Supply and demand and normal competition cannot regulate this fantasy world of abstract money and supercapital. The mortgage crisis alone should tell you that. You talk about socialism, the real collectives and soulless bureaucracies are all private firms. They don't even have owners, they are "publicly owned". How socialistic can you get?
Junior Achievemnent indeed! What kind of Norman Rockwell universe do you come from, anyway?
