...that generates wealth. Politicians don't work for a company that makes money. Public servants of any variety don't generate wealth either. No kids are fed by the non-wealth generated to America by Congressmen, Senators, Governors and Mayors. The lowliest janitor working for ANY company generates more American wealth than do those whose sole job is redistributing existing wealth and taking as payment a slice of that wealth.
That's the difference. Most Americans who work are producers of wealth. However you will most here capitalism and corporations bad mouthed by those who do not create wealth. Yes, unfortunately, educators create no wealth and because of this, all too often, fall in the anti-capitalist category and help breed the bureaucrat mindset. No doubt Americans NEED education, but it would be better served imitating the European model - where corporations complete or augment the education of children at about age 12. Mercedes has a small university and dorms where the students learn all about the value of capitalism, work ethics and the skills needed to rise in a coporation. In Europe, trade schools of all kinds don't denigrate making money. Here, the kids attend a university and are taught capitalism is evil, global warming is real - and then send them out into the real world and expect them to make a living!
It would be funny, almost, if it weren't so sad.
