We are talking the kind of training it takes to construct an entire military system on a different structure than the top-heavy Soviet type they had before, including ranks all the way up, infrastructure, organization, and everything else. We're talking logistics, air power, technical training, and much more.
You constantly compare this to the training it took in American wars to pull a kid off the streets, run him through boot camp, stick a gun in his hand, plug him into a mature organized military, and stick him on the front lines to do some shooting.
You must realize the comparison is ridiculous. It's like the difference between building a factory and hiring somebody to work on the line.
Tell me, how long do you think it took to "train" Eisenhower? Douglas MacArthur? Any decent officer? You must have had to work with 90-day wonders in your time. How did that work out?
I could point you to details of the training process if I thought you actually had the slightest interest in knowing something about this subject.
