re: You think we have to wait for an Iraqi Eisenhower now?
I'm trying to get across the simple idea that we're doing more in Iraq than just trying to teach some people how to shoot and clean a gun. You don't get good upper ranks in a year, or even four.
We're not simply training people to join a military. We're building the military itself.
You can spend some time here and get some idea of what the coalition and Iraq are trying to build.
