The new "Moderates"
My new definition of Moderate is a kid 18-24 who has reached voting age, spends most of his/her time playing video games, texting and updating their myspace/facebook page and has not spent almost anytime at all focusing on politics. His/her views will be influenced by the 'rents and the folks he/she texts the most.
In other words, as Lucy Van Pelt might say they are "wishy-washy" types. They may not want to appear like wussies and be for the effort in Iraq or they may bleed for every "oppressed" soldier like their teacher(s) taught them to. Then again they may want to be 180 degrees in opposition to whatever their teachers supported. Because they haven't spent more than 5 minutes thinking about it, they are still "moderates."
