re: As the human population grows - To ER and Socrates:

Interesting thing about "talent" and "ability", since that's what socialism also has its foundings on. They want to bring it out, hail it, but then, not much happens really. It is not trully shared.

In a free country, it is hailed and rewarded to those that have it and have achieved it, but it is still shared. In a socialist-communist country, the same, but yet it is lost somehow with the poor. The poor only get the means to survive.

Why is that? When the poor should have (underdeveloped countries) every means to make it... make something of themselves and share that with everyone else, they don't because they can't.

Don't go telling me about the U.S., because I've been there and done that.

1. Came close to being on Welfare.

2. Lived in a mobile home.

3. Taken care of my mother (sandwich generation).

Money? We had some, but it was taken away from our family. Mr. C. had a great deal to do with that and it was money and land well earned by my family.

I didn't make it into the space program, but that's just the way things go. I don't regret any of the responsibilities I've had. Knowledge is still a very powerfull thing.

The day the rights are taken from us all, all of us, to better ourselves, the worse we will become and may well lead to our demise.

May success always be available to all of us, inevitable or otherwise.
