On the Beach
It brought home the realities of the aftermath of a nuclear war in a way that warnings from doom sayers could never duplicate. The visuals will never leave my head, the sight of a young mother and father lying down with their baby to commit suicide knowing that otherwise, their baby would be left alone to die horribly by itself after they succumbed to the radiation.
