Hada rare opportunity to talk to one of the professors that published books on the EDISON PAPERS, to this day they are digging through West Orange labs and finding neat stuff from the 1880's he wrote, anyway when the cowboy faced the camera at the ending and shot at the audience, some people would faint or run out of theatre in panic, remeber no sound so they would fire blanks timed to the movie..WOW!
