I LOVED Disney's original Fantasia. What can you or anyone say... it is what it is and it is timeless.
Disney also worked with NASA, btw.
My number one pic would surprise some, but it has to be Star Trek, the number one, the first movie made for the big screen. It still amazes me that a television show started out so small and made it to the big screen and to the people in such a huge way. My favorite scene was when they discovered V-ger. I know it may not be popular among the populous, but it's still my favorite. Second favorite is Star Trek, First Contact, when Zefram Cochrane (easy, Hah!, I had to look that one up especially for the spelling!) figured out a way around light speed and the Enterprise, et. al and had to face 'The Borg'.
Anyhoo, nope I'm no Trekie, but that's where it partially started with me. That and Gemini. ;)
