Is the problem really Afghanistan or the ungoverned tribal areas of Pakistan? What we should do is tell Pakistan that before they have thoughts of fighting India for more land, they should get a grip on the territory within their own borders. If the no man's land in Pakistan came under the full control of the Pakistani government, then most of the problems in Afghanistan would come to an end. Taming the tribal areas is key to this problem.
