is that 90+% of the Continental army was pointless. The war was won by the 5% free Blacks and Indians. Everyone else was simply redundant and of no use.
And we have "some" NW European roots? Only some? Is that all? Jeez, you make it sound like the English, Scots, Welsh, Irish, Germans, Scandinavians, Dutch, and yes even French made up just a tiny part of a large mozaic, and that the overwhelming majority were African, Hispanic, Jewish, and Indians.
