"Ayers has said himself that he does not regret opposing the Vietnam War"
But obviously his intention as a terrorist was to use the political conflict regarding the Vietnam war, as a means to violently overthrow the US govt.
So the Vietnam War for Ayers was an opportunity to try to gain power.
So a thief who uses the confusion of riots is not "opposing riots" or what are the causes of riots.
Do you think that the people who were against the Vietnam war because they didn't see this war as something which in American's interests, that these people considered this terrorist as on the same side as them? As an ally?
Ayers at the time may have regretted that the Vietnam war and the political conflict connected to it, ended and thereby lessened his bid for power.
