"Research"
Don't confuse being able to find links (and please learn the HTML) with being able to create an argument. I notice you stopped quoting that second piece a bit too soon:
But is it fair to say that paying Quinn for political work means McCain shares his views on race?
We learned from yesterday's Washington Post piece on his temper that one of his blowups was to get Arizona to approve a King holiday.
Score one against guilt-by-association.
But McCain, as usual, wants a double standard.
He can launch guilt-by-association attacks when it suits him, while he can hug or pay anyone he wants, since he condemns all statements that are "anti-anything."
Guilt-by-association is a dumb, meaningless standard. We'll all be better off if we follow McCain's rule, "people who endorse you, people who befriend you are entitled to their own views, but you are not held personally accountable."
But only if all candidates are held to a consistent standard.
Go back and look at that third link again. Just because Quinn's name happens to appear in it doesn't mean it actually supports your argument. It's about potential conflict of interest for Adam Fogle, someone who works with Newsweek.
Again, Googling isn't the same as analysis. It's a starting point.
Obama's victory this fall depends on America not learning that he is a radical leftist who has been soaking in that anti-American culture for twenty years. There's a lot more to it than Ayers. I notice nobody really wants to think about the cultural climate at a university that would hire such a person in the first place. Nobody wants to touch my thought experiment on a known abortion clinic bomber applying to be a university professor decades later.
The apparent "punt gun" response to having this nerve hit speaks for itself.
I actually hope the Democrats try to run Liddy up against Ayers. That would be worth the price of admission.
