I knew that, the gloating is always there, doesn't matter which side wins.

I wrote a long, boring essay on my thoughts about both McCain and Obama. Was going to inflict it on the long suffering people who are still in my Mumble Listserv. Trashed it, at this point there's damned few folks who care anymore. Mostly they're glad it's over at last.

Me? I liked them both........... No matter what has been said by a lot of Talking Heads, McCain is a good man with strong principles. I respect him deeply for his lifelong service to this country. And, I believe had he run as McCain instead of catering to the GOP base. While allowing the political operatives to much freedom. He would have done much better.

Obama has vision, a solid intellect, and will stand firm on what he believes. He also has admitted his agenda is now subject to the financial realities. And, he's indicated he wants to bring in a wide spectrum for positions in his administration. As for his skin? I don't give a flying fat rats ass. What matters is if he can do the job!
