It's barely possible, I suppose, that he will come into office and suddenly become a reasonable moderate. The Republicans supporting him are wistfully hoping so.
I'm going by a political career over two decades, one that is solidly hard left all the way across the board. That this career has been effectively blanked out by his media allies doesn't make it go away.
Pelosi is a hard leftist who isn't even pretending, since she is locked into her office for as long as she likes from the district of San Francisco. She and other leftists in the House who have been champing at the bit for years have a LOT of plans. Closer to Lindy's than anything else.
