I was thinking of this post.

Oh, where are those liberals of 2006 who were piously wringing their hands about too much power in the hands of one party? I knew it was sheer hypocrisy, even then. And Executive power, too. I mean, who needs Congress, really? They just slow things down. Old Hugo down in Venezuela knows how to get things done for the people.

You forget, I come from a "socialist" country. Higher taxes there, but everyone pretty much is guaranteed a comfortable lifestyle; not like you have here.

And yet, here you are.

8,750 Americans migrated to Canada in 2007. Twice as many Canadians came down here to live, and a lot more than that came down here to work.
