Is it really the end of the world?
Last time I checked, Obama's plan was to return the upper brackets to the level of the 1990's- somewhere around 39%. It seemed we were fairly prosperous during that decade.
It's not exactly like stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. The tax break would not go to people just sitting at home watching Springer, poping out kids and smoking crack- producing nothing.
The way I understand it, unlike the last tax rebate, you're not going to benefit unless you pay taxes?
