Hey, that woman is by no means my favorite politician. I think within the Democratic Party she represents the bottom of the barrel but, you know as well as I do that no matter how much evidence would have been unEarthed in an impeachment trial of Bush's guilt, that they would not have had the votes in the Senate to pull it off. Unfortunately in Washington, power does not go to the side with major defeats.
Pelosi, in my opinion simply was being pragmatic. It would have been my druthers to see the charges brought up because it would have exposed a great deal of evidence to the public but I understand that it would have ground to a halt lots of other important business.
Were she in my district though I'd be looking for another Dem to knock her out of her seat.
