It's a very simple point, TB.
Saddam didn't have WMDs and he could have had WMDs had he not destroyed WMDs. The reality which doesn't change with your desire to wish differently is that there were no WMDs. Your making up "intentions" for Saddam which don't fit the facts doesn't change that. A similar denial -
Waterboarding is torture. Every authority to which one may appeal agrees it's torture. There is no way to logically admit the US waterboards (and other tortures, really) and claim the US does not torture.
Harsh reality is immune to your ideology. Logic, reason and facts should substitute for ideological wishful thinking in assessing the world as it is.
