I refuse to click on any link that doesn't have at least a few sentences telling me what it's all about.
I just wait to see how the conversation progresses and if it turns into a topic that's worth getting into, I'll get involved without ever reading the initial article. I could care less what some right wing think tank site or Republican-controlled news organization thinks about some issue. If I wanted to respond to their articles I'd go to their forums and completely bypass Tom. Now, if he wants to write a paragraph explaining his own views or the impact the article had on his knowledge, I might be tempted to see how it evolved. Without that, it's just propaganda.
