Do you realize how ridiculous your last statement was?
Two people - both suddenly unemployed. One in a country with guaranteed health care and one with our crappy private system. The stresses on both individuals to pay bills, mortgages, buy food, etc are immense. However, one stress the Canadian doesn't have is continuing their health care coverage at ridiculous prices.
Seems like a no-brainer to me but, since you have your butt covered, why worry about those things?
