You seem to be confusing the stimulus package with corporate bail-outs. They are two completely different issues with different goals.
Unless I misunderstood, your original post that I responded to was about the stimulus package. In any case, my post only addresses stimulus. And why job-building/job-preserving spending is preferable to tax cuts. I did not dig up any supporting references (I am ashamed by my laziness).
Now you seem to refer to financial institution bail-outs? We can talk about that too, if you want. But I prefer to keep things separate so folks won't be confused or misinformed.
