Indeed I feel some progress is finally on the way, albeit with 8 years of the new Millenium already WASTED. But I wasn't impressed with Obama's answers about the AIG bonuses. Maybe there's a reason. Maybe I don't understand economics and the Fed. Maybe I shouldn't care.
But lately we've been bamboozled from every direction, and it's hard to understand millions in bonuses for the characters in AIG amd Merril Lynch that GOT us into this mess, while people can't afford to pay their mortgages or live off their measley unemployment checks.
What you DON'T hear on national news are the riots in other countries towards their governments and the pockets of demonstrations already happening here in the US. I've even heard there are people purposely NOT paying their mortgages, not only because they can't afford them, but they are planning on fighting to stay in them.
