re: Technology will be Humanity's downfall...a small rant.
It's not technology alone per'se that is the problem. It's anything that is imbalanced. If technology increases without the mind of man to accompany it - then the technology will be abused. Obesity, pornography, addictions all that demonstrate a lack of balance.
The mind is the most advanced technological tool in the world today. It has vastly more potential than anythin man will ever build or construct.
Everything that's done with machines can be done with the mind - everything.
In that future day the most technocratic of worlds abandons the external devices, as completely unnecessary, and the minds take over.
This world is still a far, far ways off from that day. ;-)
