Being a mid century kid and growing up in the turbulent 1960's experencing the birth of the space age , we never went for want at our household and mom and dad played OZZIE and Harriet till they departed this world, the 70's were the energy, enviromental and political awakenings and with the 80's we had Reganomics fall of the Commies , naw, the 90's were corporate greed and housing booms and bust along with Wall St, as I explained to the kids, cherish the times we live in now, but pass on to future generations your life experiences
