People use facebook to socialize, instead of having a drink at a bar (usually very noisy and smelling cigarettes)....The physical contact is lost, but is it worse?

I'm upset my younger colleagues type much faster on their keyboard than I can.

I'm upset being far closer to the other side of life than they are.

My grandma used to say "that's progress" in a derogatory mood....

I don't know what's better for us. To live 80 years instead of 40....and with the last 10 being quite depending on others or incapacitated....Life's too short in any case.

We're just spending some time on Earth and it will be over in a short while. But we might go without realizing it. That's better! I'd rather leave without knowing it at 52 than in fear of death every day for 15 years at 70.

All those worries are such because we're alive and think.
